How much does a gardener cost in Tendring and Colchester?
Most of our garden care work is charged at £22 per hour. Regular scheduled visits may qualify for a fixed monthly rate, which we agree in advance based on the size of your garden and the work required. Quotes are always free and no-obligation.
Do I need to sign a contract for regular garden visits?
No. We do not lock you into contracts. You can stop, pause or change your schedule at any time with reasonable notice. We believe good work should keep you coming back, not paperwork.
How often should my lawn be mowed?
During the British growing season (March to October), most lawns benefit from weekly or fortnightly mowing. In very hot or dry spells we may adjust the cut height or frequency to protect the grass. We tailor this to your lawn's condition and your preferences.
What areas do you cover?
We cover all of Tendring District and Colchester, including Clacton-on-Sea, Frinton-on-Sea, Walton-on-the-Naze, Brightlingsea, Manningtree, Harwich, Dovercourt, Weeley, Wivenhoe and surrounding villages.
Are you insured?
Yes. Verdant & Co. holds £2 million public liability insurance. This covers every visit and gives you peace of mind while we work on your property.
Can you do a one-off tidy-up?
Absolutely. We regularly do one-off seasonal tidy-ups, overgrown garden clearances, and pre-sale garden makeovers. Just get in touch for a free quote.
Do you take away garden waste?
Yes. We clear and dispose of all garden waste created during our visits as standard. You won't be left with piles of clippings or cuttings.
How do I get a quote?
